The Story
It started with a simple observation.
We spend so much time around people without really discovering much about them.
We talk about our weekends, the weather, our plans. Meanwhile, there are countless little things that make us different: habits, expectations, unwritten rules, ideas of what's normal that rarely come up in everyday conversations.
Things We Thought grew out of a desire to change that. To create a more natural, playful way for people to discover those differences, without awkward questions, forced sharing, or the feeling of being put on the spot.
What started as an idea to bring colleagues from different cultures closer together soon found its way into other parts of life.
Because whether we're sitting with coworkers, friends, or family, there's always something we don't yet know about each other.
Today, Things We Thought creates social discovery games that turn ordinary situations into unexpected conversations, funny revelations, and little moments of recognition.
All it takes is one good question to discover how differently we see the same world.
